People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.
If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway.
If you find happiness, people may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway.
Give the world your best and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway.
For you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It never was between you and them anyway.

Time marches on, whether you're ready for it or not.  I have made it my goal this year to post on my blog at least once a month.  Then time won't slip by me with nothing to remember it by.  Since the last time I wrote, much has happened and it would be too hard to post it all.  I may post some things from the past, if I can't find anything else to post about, but mainly I want to keep things current.

Christmas 2014

January 2015

Allie is 3 now and there is much I have missed posting about her.  She is such a sweet, funny, energetic kid and I am so grateful to have her in our family.  It's just me and her together all day while Regan and Sophie are at school.  She loves being my shadow and loves me "so super much"! It's so cute when she says, "I want to hold you mama". :)  She also loves the Madagascar movies, pizzaroni, playing on the "wee ha's", using my makeup, cuddling with me on the couch, going with mom to the stores, playing with ther Anna and Elsa dolls, and her "birthday bed" (the twin bed she got for her birthday).  Allie is different from her sisters, yet has alot of Sophie's craziness, and silliness.  They get along really well together for the most part.  Allie is loud and bossy and VERY independent.  She has to do everything herself!  Kind of drives me a little crazy, especially when we need to be somewhere.  I will have opened a door, but if she wanted to do it, then she will shut it and re-open it.  She is so stubborn.    Yet, she is more helpful than the other two girls and not quite as mischevious.  Thank goodness!  I can't believe she is in sunbeams.  My baby is growing up!

Sophie 7yrs
Poor middle child, Sophie, is the punching bag for Regan and Allie.  She is sweet and doesn't really instigate things, so she gets picked on from Regan, and gets in trouble when Allie has beat her up, because she must have been annoying her.  She is sweet and can be helpful when she wants to be.  Sophie is in 2nd grade and doing fairly well, when she wants to work.  Her teacher has learned that Sophie will do her work on Sophie time.  Just before Christmas break, their class was working on math and then going to have their Christmas party.  Her teacher told me that for an hour the kids worked on math and Sophie didn't do a thing.  When it came time for the party her teacher said that Sophie had to go to another room and work finish her math, then she could come back to the party.  Five minutes later Sophie brought the math work back completed.  Stinkin' kid!!  She is smart and capable, but things will be done on Sophie's time and no one elses.

I helped her put two pumpkins together and she painted it.

Regan 8yrs
Regan is in 3rd grade and does very well when she applies herself.  She is one of the top of her class in reading and is working on times tables.  She has a strong testimony of Jesus Christ and the gospel and loves going to Activity Days.  She is still very creative and has an imagination that surpasses most her age.  For her school's Reflections project, the theme was, "The world would be a better place if....." and she wrote, "if horses produced blackberries"!  She is starting to blossom, so I took her to get a training bra yesterday.  She was so excited and told lots of people about it.  She said to one lady, "I got a training bra!  It's so I don't hang!" :)Hahaha!!!  She still says some pretty funny things.  She is an energetic girl who has a soft spot for poor people.
