People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.
If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway.
If you find happiness, people may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway.
Give the world your best and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway.
For you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It never was between you and them anyway.

4th of July

My dad, Kandra, Lance and I went to Heber for the 4th of July.  It was so beautiful.  My mom's yard looked amazing thanks to the great efforts of our dear neighbor, Ron Squire.  My mom planted many perennials that kept the yard looking beautiful without her being there.  It's the first time I've been home that she hasn't been there.  It was quite lonely without her.  It's sad to think that she won't make it back there.

Kandra and I went through my parents house and CLEANED.  Clothes were donated, paper work was looked through and tossed, cupboards cleared, and on and on.  We spent about 2.5 days on her pantry alone and only got about half way through it.  My mom had her own pharmacy of supplements, and a 5 year supply of food.  Not to mention lots of pictures, games, canning jars, yadda yadda yadda.  It was hard undoing years of work.  There is still lots to do there, but I feel like we made a good start.

I took these pictures in the morning....

Every time I see a hollyhock I think of my dad.  They are his favorite flower.

....then all of a sudden a hail storm blew in and created a mess!

Snowball fight on the 4th of July!

Dirty faced girl and Allie;)

We had a great time in Heber.  The weather was so nice.  I love monsoon season in Heber!  It rained everyday and everything was nice and green.  It will be sad when my parents are both gone and I won't really have a reason to go there anymore.

Regan's birthday

We had a great time at Regan's 7th birthday party in St. George.  We had lots of family and friends to share it with.

Ty, Jessie, Breanne

Grandpa Greer

Aspen, Allie (16 months)

Julie and Jessie made the cutest cake!  A rainbow cake was just what Regan wanted.

Cute Easter egg cupcakes

Finding a rainbow inside made Regan giddy!

Regan and Janie.  What pretty girls!

Our friends the Colvin's came to our party as well.

Allie thinks she is such a big girl.

Allie aka Cutie aka Stinker

Oh my little Allie cakes.  What would we do without you?  Things would be quieter, cleaner, and a lot less funny that's for sure!  Right now you have a thing for shoes.  You love to wear Renan and Dubby's "lup lups" (flip flops).

(16 mo.) You have really groovy dance moves and would spend all day outside if I let you.
(15 mo)  You are my pickiest eater yet.  You turn your nose up at mashed potatoes but will eat broccoli the next minute.  Regan's prediction came true.....you are pretty much a vegetarian.

Giving daddy high five!
You are pretty good at helping to clean up.  Something Renan and Dubby weren't good at.  I hope that continues! :)

You have the LOUDEST scream I have ever heard!  What a feisty beast!

Sweet....
...and sour!
You love your mama! (And want to be held constantly!)

You decided to play around on the stroller when I wasn't looking, and your weight tipped the stroller forward.  Blood started gushing from your nose and lip and they swelled up immediately.  You are usually really tough, but I knew you must be in a lot of pain because you could not be consoled for a while.  This was a couple days after. (17 months)

Allie and Aspen (18 months)

You like to stick things up your nose.  You will get little pieces of toilet paper and shove them up your nose.  Sometimes way up there, sometimes not.  You even like to eat the toilet paper :(  Right now you have a sticker up your nose that has been there a few weeks with no signs of coming out.  Not sure how we're going to handle that yet?!?

Rockin' the shades!
You love wearing our clothes and will put multiple shirts on your waist at once. (19 months)

You have a deep little voice.  We ask you a question and it is either a firm "No!" or "Uh-huh"

You are so goofy and funny!

You make life sweeter my little Alliegator!
