People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.
If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway.
If you find happiness, people may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway.
Give the world your best and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway.
For you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It never was between you and them anyway.

Sweet Sophie

Sophie is getting so much more personality. She is very different than Regan. She is generally happy and plays by herself fairly well, but she has a fiesty streak in her. If you take a toy away from her or a Gogurt, she'll pitch a fit. If she and Regan get into a tug of war over a toy, Sophie will win half the time. An open door is a Sophie magnent. She wants out of the house whenever possible. She makes the funniest noises. It's a mix between a squirrel, alien, and gremlin. It is so funny. She also growls, which my mom said that I did as a baby. Her laugh is contagious. Last night Jason and I had comedy central right in our own living room. She was playing with a balloon and we laughed at the things she was doing for about a half hour. I just love this sweet, funny girl we have been blessed with.

My sister Kandra has an interesting post. You all should "hop" on over there.

Poor Birthday Girl

So Regan is 2 years old. I can't believe it! Time has really flown by. She has kind of had a rough week. First she burnt her finger with my curling iron and got a big blister. Then she tripped and fell into a cynder block and got a big bruise across her cheek and cut her bottom lip (which I am grateful that's all that happened). Then, the day before her birthday she face planted onto a wagon handle and cut her lip up good. Poor little thing. She didn't even look the same. I finally found my USB cable for my camera so I can post some pictures.

This is at Easter (the day she burnt her finger) and she is stuffing her face full of candy.

This is today. The swelling had gone down quite a bit over night but it still looks horrible.

From this angle you can see the bruise on her cheek from the cynder block.

Blah, blah, blah

So I haven't posted for awhile. I've been busy and there really hasn't been anything to post about, and just the everyday hum drum of life even makes me bored just thinking about it. I have made more scrapbook pages so I'll post those.

More pages

So the first page about the piano was kind of crazy weird but fun too. The challenge was to ask an inanimate object some questions and to basically have a conversation with the object. The second pages challenge was to tell a story or a pet peeve. Well stepping on Regan's nasty, soggy, wet blanket is a HUGE pet peeve!!

About Me

I am participating in a digital scrapbook race and we have 2 challenges a week. That was where the page for Jason came from. So this last challenge had to be a page about yourself with at least half of it in journaling. You'll be seeing more pages as the challenges keep coming.

Back from the dead

Well, I wasn't really dead but it kinda felt that way most of the week. I had a few things goin' on like gastritis, laryngitis, mastitis, crapitis, and another itis that I had to take an antibiotic for. I have a cough still but at least I'm feeling better. Thanks to the loads...umm.....heaps....errr, well few of you dedicated people out there that wished me well. In other news, Sophie has hit the road on all fours. That's right, she is crawling up storm in here. And Regan is a freakin' potty queen. She is doing so good, she even makes Jason look bad. (Sorry to "leak" that one out Jason). Well, I better leave, but I will return. I will, however leave you with a great cell phone video of Sophie a couple months ago laughin' it up.
