Regan noticed the pile of food storage I have been collecting recently and asked why I'm doing that. I talked to her about emergencies and the things we have to plan for. I told her about the story in the Book of Mormon where Lehi was told in a dream that Jerusalem was going to be destroyed that he needed to take his family and leave. I said that it could happen today.
Mom: What would you think if the prophet asked us to leave and only take a the essentials with us and never come back?
Regan: I would feel sad. This is our home and I wouldn't want to leave all of our stuff.
Mom: But if the prophet asked you to, would you?
Regan: (With a solemn face) Yes, and I'd do it with a happy heart. :)
Where did she come up with that? I love that she has such a simple, yet strong testimony of the gospel, and the prophet. Made my heart want to burst.

Allie-isms
On my birthday,Kandra and her brood were here, so we went to a children's museum. We had a good time and stayed there for a long time. While in the car to leave, Allie said that she wanted french fries. I told her that there weren't any in the car. She threw a fit and yelled at me to give her french fries right now. So I made some pretend fries with my hands and passed them back to her. I thought she'd just hit my hand a scream, but she quietly took those pretend fries and then threw them on the ground! Poor pretend french fries. I laughed so hard!
Allie LOVES to pray. Her prayers always make us chuckle. After the traditional,"Dear Hevny Fadder, thank you for this day..." she starts saying crazy stuff....."and we have dinner, and we have pizza, and we have water, and we be nice to our friends, and we don't say damn it, and we go to Costco, and we go to church, and we don't watch Slugterra, and we don't shake our booty like this (proceeds to shake her booty while praying with Jason and I in bed)....I mean.....where does she come up with the stuff!?! Love it. If I try to help her, she says that its her turn to pray, not mine. That is my Miss Independant! :)

Time marches on, whether you're ready for it or not. I have made it my goal this year to post on my blog at least once a month. Then time won't slip by me with nothing to remember it by. Since the last time I wrote, much has happened and it would be too hard to post it all. I may post some things from the past, if I can't find anything else to post about, but mainly I want to keep things current.

Allie is 3 now and there is much I have missed posting about her. She is such a sweet, funny, energetic kid and I am so grateful to have her in our family. It's just me and her together all day while Regan and Sophie are at school. She loves being my shadow and loves me "so super much"! It's so cute when she says, "I want to hold you mama". :) She also loves the Madagascar movies, pizzaroni, playing on the "wee ha's", using my makeup, cuddling with me on the couch, going with mom to the stores, playing with ther Anna and Elsa dolls, and her "birthday bed" (the twin bed she got for her birthday). Allie is different from her sisters, yet has alot of Sophie's craziness, and silliness. They get along really well together for the most part. Allie is loud and bossy and VERY independent. She has to do everything herself! Kind of drives me a little crazy, especially when we need to be somewhere. I will have opened a door, but if she wanted to do it, then she will shut it and re-open it. She is so stubborn. Yet, she is more helpful than the other two girls and not quite as mischevious. Thank goodness! I can't believe she is in sunbeams. My baby is growing up!
