People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.
If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway.
If you find happiness, people may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway.
Give the world your best and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway.
For you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It never was between you and them anyway.

Now you see it, now you don't

WARNING: What you are about to see may shock and horrify you. Please proceed with caution. (And don't send me hate mail.)

I know many of you commented last post on how pretty Regan's hair is. I agree. She has amazing curl to it and it looks so gorgeous when she lets me do it. But that is the key...WHEN SHE LETS ME...which is almost never. She hates me to brush it and runs away at even the suggestion of it. If I do manage to get a pony tail in, she pulls it out within a few minutes. I'm sick of her fighting me and looking like she's a little orphan whom nobody loves enough to do her hair.
So I took it upon myself to liberate her from the fight. Yes, I did it myself and if any of you readers are hair dressers then please turn a blind eye. The only other hair I've cut is Jason's, so girls' hair with layers was a challenge, but amazingly enough she held still. I only had to fight Sophie from crawling all over me and Regan trying to get the scissors.

This was after her bath. And might I add, quite easy to do. Only a comb. No detangler, pik, brush, and straps to tie her down...hahaha.

Wow, that is drastic, but cute I might add. I did the same with Wendy's beautiful white-blond hair (had a beautician do it) when she was about the same age for the same reason. I got heck from it--was accused of making her look like a boy! They didn't have to deal with the battle everyday. Eventually, 3 or 4 years later I let it grow out when she was more cooperative. It didn't have the curl anymore though. Anything's worth not having a daily battle over it, I think.

Love it! And all I can say is that you're a pretty smart mom because you know it's better to make life easier for both of you and cut it, than to try to fight her everyday with it.

I have to admit she is so adorable in short hair!!! Its the same cut as Autumn's! Its soooooo worth not having the hair battle everyday.
You need to talk to mom about Christmas. We maybe going to St.George to be with Summer.

The hair cut so adorable on her. Hey, not having to fix it is my kind of style too! You did an amazing job with the layers and all!

Ok so this beatician approves! I can't believe that you cut it WITH LAYERS. I didn't know that you could be so ambitious! I LOVE it!

Wow Kristal, good job. Maybe you should have been a beautician. You are so talented. It's not fair.
