People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.
If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway.
If you find happiness, people may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway.
Give the world your best and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway.
For you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It never was between you and them anyway.

This and That

January was a good month for me mentally, emotionally, ect. Probably the best month I have had since Regan was born. Jason and I decided to start reading scriptures with the girls before they went to bed and it has made a huge difference. I think there is something the Lord is trying to teach me. Read scriptures=happiness, don't read scriptures=suckiness (maybe not in those specific terms but you get the idea).

Here are some of the highlights:

Making snow angels with styrofoam and yes clean up was not fun (2 hours).

Making "sand" art with salt and food coloring

Spicing up lunch with muffin tins.

Then we made Valentines decorations with crayons and wax paper.

They are very pretty with the sun shining through them.

Regan started preschool with Catherine Reed and she LOVES it. She loves thinking she is so big like daddy cause he goes to school. She loves Catherine and always wants to go there and see her. Today I told her she was going to school today and she said, 'I want to run to Cafrins wight now!" Thanks Catherine, she loves you!

You're such a fun mom, Kristal. I love the window art and spicing up lunch in muffin tins. I'm so happy that Regan loves coming to preschool. She's a sweetheart, and I'm lucky I get to have her!

You are always so creative. Love the spicing up lunch with the muffin tin :) Your girls are getting so big. Man, it has been way to long since I have seen you. We are moving back to Salt Lake in August, I think depending on if we for sure get into grad school.

I love the fun crafts you have done with your kids!!
I'm glad you read thier blog and commented on it! I did'nt know if I should make it public or not but it seems to be a good thing. I'm trying to creat a different one with more pages so I can talk about "RAD" a little. Plus I have some letters that I want to post that Bradens birth mom has written.
I hope this keeps being a positive thing!!

Ooops I spelled "their" wrong and I meant my kids adoption blog.
Sorry!

You are so creative. What fun ideas! I'm going to have to steal some of them. That is a great idea to do scripture reading as a family, we do personal and couple but not family yet. I guess I've always thought our kids were too young, but I guess it's never too early to start. I know what you mean though when we slack on our scripture reading life is just not as good- things don't go as smoothly and we are not as happy.
