I have been quite busy the last couple of weeks. Here's a recap:
There is finally no one sick in our house. Hooray!!
I finally found a temporary job as a hygienist for just Wednesdays although I didn't work last Wednesday and I don't know if I'll work this one...ugg. It was nice to get back into it since I haven't done it since August.
Regan's birthmom and her two boys came into town to visit us. It was a great visit and reaffirmed to both of us that Regan is in the right place. We sure love her and her strength and courage.
I was called in before church to be RS 2nd counselor and set apart after church (on the same weekend Regan's birthmom came).
Regan turned 3!?!?!?! She picked out her own cake and candle. I let her choose the frosting color and decorate it herself. She loved it! The birthday hat she is wearing was given to her by her birthmom and she wouldn't take it off. She even wore it to the zoo.....and this is a girl that doesn't like to wear hats! She is getting so big...where has the time gone?
These shirts were onsale at Target and I thought they were so stinkin' cute. This is the first time they wore them......and the last....at least for Sophie. I caught her with my super sharp quilting scissors and she was shredding her shirt to bits....while wearing it.
We have 2 external hard drives. One for all of our pics, videos, scrapbook, stuff and the other as a backup of all of that. The first one failed in January, luckily no info was lost. We took it back to Costco and they replaced it. Then our second one failed this week. For the past couple of weeks I felt like I needed to backup and just didn't do it. Well, I lost about 2 months worth of pictures and I am heart broken. Luckily I had uploaded some to Costco of Regan so I could print them out for her birth mom, so I have a few of those I can get, but all the ones of Sophie are gone. There were some darling ones of her awesomly sweet curly hair and her silly scrunchy face, and even the princess Laya hat (see a couple posts down), and some of them while they were at my parents house with my dad, Kandra and Gavin. The ones on my blog are GIF files so they won't print out. I just feel like puking. So lesson learned, BACKUP OR THROWUP!!!!
Regan got into my make-up........again. The bathroom was covered in consealer.
I was pushing Sophie in the swing and she was laying back like you see here. When she would start to slow down, without moving, she would say "more swing". So I would push her more. After a while of this she stopped asking me to swing her. She had fallen asleep like this. So cute.
Regan said that she looked like grandpa Joy with a fuzzy face.I am posting these for my sister. She wanted to see what I was trying to explain to her. I am going to put it in the girls room. Pretty fun to make. Maybe I'll sell them on Etsy.
I had a fun photo shoot with my super cute neices and they turned out pretty good.

Happy Bday to Regan. What a cute girl!
Are you going professional w/ your photography? Those are great pictures. I love the second to the last one of the girls hugging. You're good!
I hope you are feeling better. Too bad you can't enjoy spring the same way as us lucky ones. I love spring! I hope your allergies are better now.
My o my! You are amazing...hygenist, photographer, decorator! So much going on in your life it sounds crazy!
Those pics you took are great!!!
I love love love the picture of your baby asleep in the swing-so real!
Love ya!!!
I love the way the flowers turned out! I want to make some before I leave. I am going to miss all of your creativity. You'll just have to keep posting all of your projects so I can still learn from you!
Seriously, I can't wait to move back to Utah and I can make cute things with you. I lack the creativity, but have the skills, so you can help me out!!! I am glad you found a temp job, they are hard to find in Utah, I am worried about that when we come back, my working 3 hours a week here is so awesome and way easy to find here, but not Utah. I can't believe Regan is 3 already. I still remember the day after we took our DH boards you got the call you were getting her :) we were all so excited and it was a dang good thing boards were over so we all still passed. Okay, those shirts from Target are adorable, I just bought that same one a month ago but navy blue and cream for a gift and actually stashed it away for my sister instead so that I could eventually get the hand me down, haha! I know how to work the system. I can't believe Sophie cut it up, I just about died with laughter.
Your girls are so adorable! I'm glad my boys aren't the only ones so destructive!!!
SOOOO sorry about your pics!! NOT good, that made me sick for you! Your girls are getting so big! I admire you and all your talents!!
I can't believe how much Regan looks like Jennifer. I think it's so sweet you stay connected with her like you do.
And I'm so sorry you lost all those pictures and the cute shirt. Sophie's busted!
Bummer losing all those photos! You definitely have some super cute ones posted here though. :)

I love your new blog with the cute pictures of the girls and all (well, a tiny bit anyway) that's happening in your life--a regular soap opera at times but always interesting and never dull. I'm really looking forward to seeing them (and you) this weekend.
