People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.
If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway.
If you find happiness, people may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway.
Give the world your best and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway.
For you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It never was between you and them anyway.

So I guess it has been a few days since this thing was updated. I really haven't been on the internet/computer much the last couple of months. Too busy and no desire. So here are some of the happening around our abode.

We got the girls bunk beds. Woopee!! We are just waiting for the first broken arm to result from this.
It has been bloomin' hot and the girls begged me to use this as a bath tub. Why the heck not?!?! So I filled it up in the shower with warm water and took it outside. I have a cell phone pic of both of them in it at the same time and it is pretty funny. Sorry, but I'm to lazy to post it.

Little Miss Sweet Cheeks

Sweet Cheeks had a nose wrestling contest with a sticker, and the sticker won.

Regan giving us a good shot of her boogs while camping.

And the real reason(s) why I don't blog much anymore.......

My new baby

Yup, I did everything including the machine quilting myself

I AM ADDICTED TO SEWING!!!!!

(more projects for your viewing pleasure coming soon)

Love that quilt!! You are too creative! I wish I had an ounce of it in my system. Glad that you are enjoying the summer and not wasting time on the net!

Fantastic quilt! If I'd get on the ball more and do more projects, then I'd get better at it and enjoy it more. Otherwise, it looks fun, but then is frustrating when I start to do it...

Well, finally. . .good to see the pictures of your little cuties and the quilt. Love it! I have a huge quilting book or two when you're ready. . .How did Sophie wrestle a sticker with her nose? Ouch! Good luck with the bunkbeds. We never had a broken bone with you 4 kids using them though Wendy was not so lucky with hers.

I am addicted too, that means we need to get together and do it now that we live in the same state again. Your quilt is gorgeous, love it. Good work. The girls are as cute as ever. I just realized I have never met Sophie and I dont think you have met Carter either, we need to get together.

That quilt is AMAZING! I'll have to post a photo some time of the one i did of an entire town... I am SHOCKED I spent as much time as I did on it. And, as far as bunkbeds go... I've had my 2 CRAZY boys in them for almost 2 years now....and NO major injuries! :) They aren't as bad as all the stories you hear.. although, I suppose I did fall off mine at age 5 and broke my wrist. Crap! :)

Love the pix of the girls! Sure miss all of you! The quilt is so cute. You have been working really hard on it.
Summer was the unfortunate one to fall off our bunkbeds, but we didn't have the railing on ours. She broke her wrist and rebroke it the day after she got her cast off, while playing on the ice I told her NOT to get on!!!!!

I have my own obsession. It all started with a quilt for Stellar last September. I haven't done a ton in the past few months, but just a few weeks ago I cleared of the sewing machine and I am at it again. It's nice to find something therapeutic in the craziness of motherhood. Love you! Devron
