People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.
If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway.
If you find happiness, people may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway.
Give the world your best and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway.
For you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It never was between you and them anyway.

From the Mouths of Babes

Today it snowed and it wasn't even April Fool's Day. I was kind of grumbling about the snow and Regan turned to me and said, "Mom, why are you mad at Jesus for making the snow?"

Boy did that put me in my place and give me a little eye-opening perspective. Gotta love it.

Aren't we glad we've got our kids to help us keep things in perspective!! Your girls are growing way too fast!!

How precious! She is so adorable! You can tell you are raising her right, Kristal! I know you often feel like pulling out your hair or throwing in the towel, but you are such an amazing mom and you do such a great job of teaching them about the Savior and his gospel! Moments like that are too precious and they are not only a great reminder to put our own thoughts into perspective, but also a great reminder to keep doing what you are doing because she is learning all the wonderful lessons you are showing and teaching her! =)

I love the little things kids say...I need to start posting the things my kids say because I always tell myself that I will write them down and then I forget. Your girls are so cute!

I love that. How sweet and innocent that comment is. They sure put things into perspective at times don't they? I learn a lot from my kids too.
I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad. That makes me sad to think that he has to go through that. Your family is so great. I hope this doesn't sound out of place.. but on a positive note the experiences I have had with loved ones having cancer is that the preparation and warning is nice. It gives you time to appreciate every minute you get with that person, enjoy every conversation, every hug...
I will be praying for your family.
Speaking of your family, but on a totally different note- I was looking through a receipe book the other day that my mom gave me from Heber 1st and 2nd ward, and there were quite a few receipes from your Mom in there. Every one of them sounded so good! I was thinking she much be a good cook! I'm trying some of them out.
But that got me thinking of you this week, and I just had to mention that. :)
