People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.
If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway.
If you find happiness, people may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway.
Give the world your best and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway.
For you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It never was between you and them anyway.

Mother's Day Reunion

Mother's Day weekend we had Regan's birthmom and her two boys come and spend a couple of days with us. Regan is a really friendly girl and had no trouble talking with them and playing with the boys. The first night we had a bbq at my in-laws and Jake and Kelly Colvin came since he has known Jennifer since he was a kid. We had a good time and went to Zion National Park to show them some of the beauty there, although it was alot of traveling all said and done. However, I made matching bracelets for them to wear and wrote a poem to go with it. I hope she knows how much we appreciate her.

Oh, how embarrasing. My fingers were on the wrong keyes. I meant communication. Oh, well. It's the thought that counts right.

Kristal,

I admire your selflessness so much and I hope I can someday feel the same way. What you did was beautiful and I couldn't help but cry. You are a great example to me. Thanks!
