People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.
If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway.
If you find happiness, people may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway.
Give the world your best and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway.
For you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It never was between you and them anyway.

Spring break vacation

At the end of March we took a trip to Mesa to see my parents.  Allie isn't the best traveler, but we found a great way to shut her up.......black licorice!!!  She has some strong Greer blood in her:)
Allie is 4 months in these pictures.
She won't eat baby food, but she'll go to town on black licorice.  Crazy kid:)

Grandpa Greer thought she was pretty sweet.

Jason's best friend, Brandon Cox, moved to the Phoenix area, so we had to go see them and meet their youngest three kids.  We haven't seen them for so long.  A great surprise was that we got to see Brandon's brother, Dusty and their parents.
Brandon and Holly
Dusty and Sophie
Regan really attached herself to Kimber.
They had fun swimming and playing dress up.

We had fun going to the movies, the park, and swimming.
 Yours truly:)
 My beautiful mother

Allie and Grandpa getting to know eachother
We also got to meet up with my best friend, the world traveler, Kim Williams Brown.  It had been a couple of years since I had seen her.  It was great!
How ironic is it that two best friends marry boys who were mission companions in Antofagasta, Chile?!?
Cute little Regan celebrated her 6th birthday while we were there.
I wanted her to feel super special so I got got decorations, made a rainbow cake and got her a pinata per her request.
The party started in the morning with opening presents.
Then they wanted to crack open the pinata.
I felt bad that it was only Regan and Sophie, but they seemed to have a good time.
Later in the day we went to the movies, the park and then back at the condo, Regan made friends with some neighborhood boys and got them to do melty beads with her.  They shared in some of the cake and ice cream too.
 Sweet little munchkin
My beautiful sister, Wendy made it down.
 Super cool dude Hunter
 David and sweet cheeks

This last picture of my dad is so funny!!  It makes me laugh.  I couldn't help posting it.  My dad really had it rough down there going to lunch and the movies every other day with his brother, Paul.
We got to see my Grandma Burnham who is 97 years old.  She is the one Allie is named for and her birthday is a couple days after Allie's.  She is the sweetest lady you'll ever meet and even made a big quilt for Allie.  I forgot my camera and only have a terrible, blurry camera phone shot.  I've been kicking myself ever since.  Well, we had a great time visiting with family and friends.

Those are really some good photos--lots of cute pictures. I had almost forgot about Reagan's birthday party at the condo we were staying at for the winter in Mesa and all the fun things we did for her birthday. It was really a fun day for a very special gir! I love the licorice pictures and slso those with Dad and Allie. I think you sure threw around the word beautiful very loosely--Wendy YES, me not so much!
