Tales of Christmas

These are a couple of cute dresses that I had for the girls for Christmas.

Well, I know you are all wondering how my ankle is doing. It is getting better. It swelled up and bruised both sides of my ankle and on top of my foot and down by my toes. I am starting to walk without a limp but it is still a little tender. We went and saw National Treasure 2 and it was good but I don't think it was as good as the first. It didn't seemed to fill in details as much as the first one. Entertaining though to say the least.

So here we are at the close of another year. Christmas was great because it was spent with family. We went to AZ to be with my family and Kandra and Jared came from Ohio. Regan had fun ripping open presents even if they were hers or not. Sophie is just a great baby. Very contented. On the 20th she cut her first tooth and has been quite good about it except at night. We have many blessings that we feel grateful for and that includes all of you!

Bah Hum Bug!!

OK so I am in the primary presidency and I was out with a fellow presidency member delivering Christmas gifts to the primary children and I hit a curb wrong and sprained my ankle. It hurt so stinkin' bad! Last night I couldn't even walk on it and today I can barely put weight on it. Kind of stinks when you have to take care of children! Trying to be nice and look where it get's me! Bah hum bug!! My ankle is now a kankle! Well, my in laws called me when they found out and came and got me and the girls and we are all at there house and they are helping me today. Really good of them to do that. It really hurts to lift the girls and put extra weight on it. I'm trying to walk on it so it doesn't stiffen up. Does anybody realize that this is the 4th time I have sprained that ankle? I only sprained the other one 3 times. Wonder when that ones next? So here are a few old pictures just to lure you in and keep you interested.

Well time flies by even when you have nothing to post. You will take note that I did put up a slide show of some FA pictures of my cute family. So I guess you are probably wondering what the title to my post means. Well, I have a confession. I haven't put up any Christmas decorations this year. Not even a tiny bulb. They are still all underneath my bed in who knows which boxes. I didn't really have the mental or physical energy to want to put it up while Regan would be running around reeking havok no doubt and wanting to touch everything and move it, lose it, rearrange it and more than likely break it. Then there would be Sophie rolling everywhere putting all of it in her mouth, where everything goes that comes within a 5 foot radius of her. The image in my head of this scene is not a pretty one, so I opted to forgo the probable disaster and keep my messy house just as messy as it is and not add to it. Some of you may call me a scrooge, but those of you who do probably do not have children (Kandra). If we were going to stay here for Christmas I would have at least put up a tree however, we will be going to Heber, AZ and I'm pretty excited. I will say that I do miss the tree and decorations. That was always my favorite thing growing up. I wonder what will happen next year when the probable mess will be even worse? Don't even want to go there right now. Christmas early....

....and no it is not another time bomb from Sophie, thank goodness (if you don't know what I'm talking about just see my second post)!!! So it is a new camera and I was just messing around with it and thought I'd share a few pictures I took of the girls. They are starting to feel a little better, but still have runny noses and coughs. Hope everyone is doing well. Leave me a line!

Tis the season....

...for sickness! And my family is no exception. I have been out of the bloggin' loop for a few days cause the family got hit with it in full force. The girls have been the worst and are still fighting it.

You will notice that I finally learned how to change my template. I'd tried once before and it didn't work but watch out cause this will officially be the coolest site ever!! Ok maybe not but at least it will be a little nicer on the eyes. You can click here to learn how to do it too. She also has alot of other cool stuff you can do on your blog as well. I would like to say that exciting stuff has been happening around here, but there hasn't been. My mother-in-law has had a rough time the last few months. She had a defibrilator attached to her heart and after a month of misery she had to have it removed and now she will probably go through another few months of misery. We hope she gets feeling better soon. Regan misses her gama!

Turkey Day

So here we are at Thanksgiving (minus me....someone had to take the pictures). We spent it with Jason's parents and his brother's family.

Regan love to dip things. She is chowin' down on the green olive dip that Virginia makes. "Mmmm...goot!!" she says. At one point she was dipping her chip in the jello salad. So cute!

What can I say about my little Sopher Dopher? She is the sweetest thing since cotton candy.

So I was picked to be on a Creative Team for Ellie Lash (SugarSnapScraps) who sells her digiscrap stuff at Scraphead.com. I am going to be making layouts (or pages) and also making quick pages that you can just throw a picture on and be done. I'm pretty excited cuz I'll be able to use all of her stuff for free!!
